Extending the house itself? We do that too.

3–4m without planning permission, or 6–8m with a simple neighbour notice. Building Regulations still matter either way, and the route is easier when it is checked before drawings drift too far.

What the next eight weeks usually look like

A simple week-by-week view of how most projects move when the brief, site and scope are clear.

Week 0 — Visit & Site Check

We look at the garden, access, intended use and the basic constraints before pretending the answer is already obvious.

Week 1–2 — Design & Fixed Quote

The brief becomes a proper layout, a written scope and a price that explains what is included and what is optional.

Week 3–6 — Materials & Prep

The agreed specification is prepared properly so the build on site is not improvisation disguised as progress.

Week 6–8 — Build On Site

Delivery, installation, fit-out and the practical details come together in the order they were planned.

After — Handover & 10 Years

The room is handed over properly, with care guidance and warranty standing behind the work.

If the Route Changes

Planning, neighbour notice or unusual access can extend the programme. The useful part is knowing that early, not hiding it.
